We are looking for an EXPERINCED Shovel (Log Loader) Operator. The requirements are listed below. Please call with any questions you may have!
Shovel Operator: Must have experience with loading trucks, mechanized (shovel) logging, and operating under yarders and in different settings. Operator must have a valid driver's license and be insurable. Operator must be willing to go early to the landing to load the first string of trucks. Wages start at $27.00 and go up with experience and willingness to learn and do. (Pay can increase with performance as well! Bonus points for experience running a processor with a Waratah head) Operator must be able to maintain machine (grease, check fluids etc.) Operator must also know how to operate chainsaw and be willing to help out on the landing if needed. Operating currently down HWY 126 towards coast. References required.
