As a qualified candidate, you will be responsible for the efficient production and packaging of products. Your role will ensure that products are packed accurately, sealed correctly, and documented properly for traceability. You will work closely with operators, leads, and supervisors to maintain food safety, quality standards, and line speed efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Product Packaging: Accurately pack products and cartons according to product type. Ensure all wrap and cartons are sealed correctly.
Documentation: Maintain clear and accurate records for product traceability.
Communication: Coordinate with operators, leads, and supervisors regarding the type of product being produced.
Food Safety: Conduct visual inspections of finished products to ensure proper sealing and wrapper quality. Ensure proper carton print for traceability and check that master cases are correctly printed and sealed.
Cross-Contamination Prevention: Follow color codes and guidelines to prevent cross-contamination.
Waste Management: Remove empty wrappers and cartons from the line and dispose of them properly.
Equipment Monitoring: Observe and report any issues with equipment to machine operators.
Inspection: Visually inspect products for deficiencies.
Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety rules, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and company guidelines. Follow established SOPs and verbal instructions, and participate in maintaining a safe and respectful work environment.
Food Safety Training: Participate in training and adhere to food safety protocols.
Team Collaboration: Perform additional duties as needed to support company goals and collaborate with team members.
Skills: Strong attention to detail, effective math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using weight and volume measurements), and the ability to multi-task and work effectively under pressure.
Communication: Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English effectively.
Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
Attitude: Positive attitude with a passion for quality food; experience with ice cream is a plus!

1st Shift-$17.00 an hour
2nd Shift-$17.50 an hour
4/10 schedule (4 days a week, 10 hours a day with Wednesdays and weekends off). OT required as requested.
