General residential construction tasks: digging, sawing, nailing, carrying, lifting, cleaning, holding, etc Project just getting started with site drainage and floor framing. Small, two story, structure will include exterior insulation, ¾" batten rain screen, window bucks, air sealing. Prefer someone with some experience, who can read a tape measure, has familiarity with hand tools, specifically saws & nail guns, and is interested in learning. Structure to be built to Passive House requirements, the most energy efficient standard in the world. Project emphasizes resilience and climate smart design using low carbon materials to achieving high-performance and comfort for the foreseeable future. May be only part-time to start but will crank up to full-time through the summer into fall. Opportunity could extend beyond project but small construction company so workload will fluctuate. Looking for someone dependable, having a good work ethic, and wanting to get into green building.
