We are searching to add new staff to our team. We have an adult foster home for individuals diagnosed with developmental delays. We have fulltime shifts which are a mix of 24hr shifts and hourly. These range from weekday-weekends. Please don't apply if you cannot work weekends.
Our goal is to find someone who will provide superior care who has a good sense of humor and good communication skills. Someone who can remain calm under pressure and avoids power struggles. These individuals have higher medical needs.
We are looking for someone with experience in the field of caregiving and who is comfortable with providing care with both personal hygiene needs and behavior. Someone who is fun, but has good boundaries. No experience necessary, but experience caring for medical needs will be highly prioritized.
Job duties include:
Responsive Communication
Providing daily support needs including hygiene needs.
Medication management
Behavioral management
Community inclusion
Housekeeping tasks as needed
Time management
Taking initiative while working independently
Driving
