Caregiver scheduling experience preferred but will train the right person.
QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED:

-Familiarity with Word, Excel and Axiscare scheduling software

As a scheduler you will be responsible for communicating with and scheduling or rescheduling caregivers in Axiscare. As a member of the office staff you may be asked to help with intermittent productivity projects. You may have to take calls from caregivers during off hours. You will be reimbursed mileage expense from the office to the client location and you will be provided a company phone
As an occasional caregiver you will provide care and services to clients in their own homes or community. Specifically, you will assist clients with their activities of daily living.
Caregiving Responsibilities will include consistent protocols such as:
Apply standard precautions according to the Centers For Disease Control
Use hand hygiene between episodes of care
Use appropriate body mechanics to prevent injury to self or the client.
Follow the clients service plan.
Use appropriate communication with client, clients family and friends and coworkers.
Report any change to client's condition
Record observations, tasks completed and client statements about condition or care.
Apply safety concepts in clients home.
Report signs of abuse, neglect, mistreatment, misappropriation or exploitation.
Demonstrate respect for the rights and property of clients and their family.
Pass a criminal records check
Maintain client confidentiality
Working Conditions
The caregiver will work in clients' home within our geographical service area. The caregiver will provide personal care including medication reminding and housekeeping services to our clients as per the clients individual care plan.
