Our private general dental office is a great working environment to learn sterilization techniques and use them daily to clean instruments, set up trays and turn over rooms between patients. Our last two sterilization techs have moved on to dental assisting and dental hygiene school. Important skills for the job include being a fast learner, good attention to detail and working well in a team environment.
The job is part time, about 21 hrs/week. Pay is a competitive hourly wage, dependent on experience. Other benefits include in house dental care, paid time off and paid holidays. Typical weekly hours are Monday 9:45-5pm, Wed 8:45-5pm, Friday 9:45-5pm.
