$21.01- $28.13 per hour, depending on experience and in accordance with Oregon's Pay Equity Act.

Position Overview:
The City of Springfield is seeking an Operations Maintenance Attendant who will be responsible for performing a variety of custodial, building, landscaping, and other maintenance duties. The successful candidate will possess the skills to work collaboratively to ensure facility systems are operating as optimally as possible.
Education / Experience:
The City will consider any equivalent combination of knowledge, skills, education, and experience to meet minimum qualifications. Such a way to meet minimum qualifications could include:
High school diploma or GED, and;
Experience in one or more of the following areas: conducting preventative maintenance and simple facility repairs (ex: dishwashers, garbage disposals, etc.), inspection of HVAC equipment, and minor plumbing repairs (i.e. repairs that do not require a license).
Licensing and Certifications:
Obtain First Aid and CPR certification within a designated time assigned by the City, and maintain throughout the course of employment
Valid Oregon Driver’s license by time of appointment
Ability to obtain Oregon State Police Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) clearance within 30 days
The Operations Maintenance Attendant position will have access to Police vehicles and equipment and must obtain CJIS certification. Please note that in order to acquire CJIS certification, the individual cannot have any felony convictions, and any other criminal record is at the discretion of the certifying agency. CJIS requires finger printing as well.
