The Housekeeper will perform a combination of tasks which maintain the hotel premises in a clean and orderly manner, thereby contributing to a pleasant, positive experience. Housekeeping positions are typically scheduled for shifts from 8:00am-4:30pm, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
The Housekeeper Essential Responsibilities:
- Provides professional and courteous service at all times to all guests and staff.
- Cleans and maintains guestrooms and occasionally public areas throughout the hotel property.
- Run supplies and service items to guestrooms as requested.
- Dusts, vacuums and overall maintains spaces assigned.
- Collects soiled linens for laundering and received and stores linen supplies in appropriate locations.
- Removes and disposes of trash.
- Refurnishes areas with supplies as required.
Physical Demands: Lifting 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or moving objects weighing up to 25 lbs. Requires walking or standing to a significant degree, reaching, bending, handling, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing.
