Pre-Sales Infrastructure Architect – Oregon/Central PNWThe Infrastructure Architect is the key interface between Philips and our customers concerning the solution design. This position will develop a successful sales strategy to differentiate Philips solution technically, in both installed base accounts and competitive accounts. This customer-facing, technical sales support role teams up with a clinical expert(s) and sales personnel to help position Philips products and solutions. You are involved in a variety of activities based on understanding the customer’s goals and workflow and provide recommendations to them on how Philips products can help them deliver more effective and efficient patient care.Your role:

The Infrastructure Architect (IA) is the knowledge expert of the monitoring ecosystem, who supports the Connected Care Account Managers (CCAM) in driving overall business and deal support by providing technical expertise on hospital patient management operating systems across all Zone accounts.

Participates in defining and controlling of the implementation of the M20 process, including the development of the SSOW and VAS Scope of work.

Collaborates with the CCAMs, the IA informs and recommends to customers the latest platform innovations developed and the associated configurations, upgrades of the installed base and positioning of transformative technologies.

Assists CCAMs with customer presentations specifically focused on the technical components of the value proposition. For Philips Install Base accounts, this should include a current state and future state slides.

Understands and addresses competitive positioning and marketing strategy of ecosystem and supports where needed in identification of the RFP strategy and quotation

Supports the CCAMs and Connected Care District Sales Mangers (CC DSMs) in achievement of business goals including balanced selling, AOP attainment, and business plan development (Score Cards) and forecasting.

Partners with Sales Support providing input on Sales tools, quoting/pricing issues and competitive threats which enable both Sales Support and Marketing to best support the Specialists and provide input to the Business Unit.

Monitor competition and changes in the industry and provide effective feedback to the Sales and marketing organizations that include suggestions for expanding product offerings.

Drives continuous improvements via Lean methodology.

You're the right fit if:

Minimum of 5 years of field sales experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years and a Master’s degree; or equivalent work experience.

Medical Capital Presales Experience, Preferred

Patient Monitoring experience required

Ability to work with prospects to develop strong business solution cases coupled with solid documentation skills

Results-oriented approach, high energy, balanced with a “take charge” attitude with teamwork and collaboration

Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills

Clean driving record

Experience in both Value-Based Selling and Negotiation

Experience in Healthcare / IT Technologies

CCNA, Windows, or other technical certification preferred

Experience working with Visio required

Must be within 1-hour driving distance of a major airport.

At 85% to 120% performance achievement, the Target Earning potential is $136,000 to $148,000 annually, plus company fleet/car. Total compensation may be higher or lower dependent upon individual performance.Target Earnings pay is only one component of the Philips Total Rewards compensation package, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more.Additional InformationUS work authorization is a precondition of employment.
