Accounting Clerk

Description We are offering an opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team located in Eugene, Oregon. This role involves a variety of accounting tasks, including managing accounts receivable, billing, data entry, and using Microsoft Excel and Sage 100 software. This position provides a long term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Manage and process accounts receivable in a timely and accurate manner. Handle billing tasks, ensuring all invoices are sent out and payments are received. Conduct data entry tasks, updating customer records, and inputting financial information into our system. Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize and analyze financial data. Use Sage 100 software for accounting tasks, ensuring all financial data is up to date and accurate. Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary. Resolve customer inquiries related to their accounts and billing, providing excellent customer service. Assist in the transition from Sage 100 to Infor software, ensuring a smooth implementation. Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.Requirements Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) is mandatory Experience with Billing procedures and systems Must possess strong Data Entry skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required Familiarity with Sage 100 software is preferred Must have strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
