As we expand, we're looking for a talented Designer Drafter to join our team and help bring the creative visions of our clients to life.

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Designer Drafter to create detailed technical drawings and designs for our custom cabinetry projects. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for design, and experience with drafting software. You will collaborate with builders, home owners, and the production team to ensure that our cabinetry meets both aesthetic and functional requirements.

Responsibilities:

· Develop detailed technical drawings and 3D models for custom cabinetry using drafting software (Cabinet Vision, SketchUp, V-Carve)

· Work closely with designers and clients to understand project requirements and translate them into accurate and comprehensive designs.

· Prepare and revise drawings based on feedback and changes throughout the design process.

· Ensure designs comply with industry standards, regulations, and company specifications.

· Create and maintain project documentation, including specifications and material lists.

· Assist in troubleshooting design issues and provide solutions during the production phase.

· Stay updated with industry trends, materials, and best practices to enhance design quality.

Requirements:

· Proven experience as a Designer Drafter, preferably in the cabinetry or woodworking industry.

· Proficiency in drafting software such as Cabinet Vision, AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar.

· Strong understanding of design principles, technical drawing standards, and cabinetry construction.

· Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.

· Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

· A degree or certification in Drafting, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is a plus.
