Eugene Montessori School has been educating children since 1962. Our quality early childhood program serves children 3 through Kindergarten. We are looking to fill the position for a Teacher's Assistant for the 2024-25 school year.
Job Description:
Includes but is not limited to assisting the Teacher in providing a nurturing Montessori environment for children, playground and classroom supervision, assisting with snack and lunch, light cleaning and tidying tasks. Monday - Friday during the academic school year, 8:00 - 3:45.
Job Requirements:
Current registration in the Oregon Central Background Registry. Candidates must also possess or have the ability to earn Pediatric First Aid/CPR certification, Recognizing Child Abuse & Neglect, Intro to Childcare Health & Safety, Foundations for Learning, and Oregon Food Handler's certification, as well as completing a minimum of 15 clock hours of training in early childhood/education annually.
Applicant needs the ability to display a positive attitude towards children, staff and parents with good listening and communication skills and have an excellent attendance record.
