Main Functions
Provide a positive customer experience with friendly, courteous service.
Operate cash register, lottery machine, and credit card terminals
Retrieve and bag merchandise, redeem coupons for discounts.
Invoice processing and payment collections for PUC, diesel and off-road.
Deli preparation and/or deli assistance.
Check in vendors and assist with weekly deli order.
Stock and clean soda and coffee station.
Sanitize entry/exit doors, counters, equipment, and coolers throughout shift.
Additional Functions
Learn, maintain, and operate all processes associated with the position including paperwork and scheduling
Maintain a team environment with other employees and departments
Other duties as needed to help maintain a clean and professional environment.
Duties/Requirements
Responsible to report to work at the scheduled time; be a team member who can be depended upon to complete work in a timely, accurate, and thorough manner; be conscientious about assignments
Will accurately handle money to include cash, checks, debit, credit or house charges.
Will have a strong attention to detail
Will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Will have excellent customer service skills
Will work independently and be self-motivated
Will do simple math such as counting, recording, addition, subtraction, and multiplication
Have an excellent attendance record
Be available to fill in for co-workers on vacation or sick time.
Working Conditions
Will stand and walk for duration of shift
Regularly maneuver up to 20 pounds
Exposure to variable temperatures (indoor, outdoor, walk-in cooler)
Work with cleaning solvents and chemicals
Daily exposure to gasoline and oil products
