We are seeking an individual who is positive, passionate, and compassionate, caring, and enjoys working with people. The successful candidate will be a strong leader with a calm yet assertive tread. You will be able to multi-task, recover easily from various on-demand interruptions, be highly focused when necessary, and be able to prioritize your multitude of tasks. Position is Monday through Friday, 8 hours a day with some flexibility on when the work shift occurs. RESPONSIBILITIES AS HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGERManage and facilitate the recruitment process, including but not limited to creating job ads, posting available positions, and researching markets and mediums in which potential candidates could be found Schedule and conducting interviews including pre-interview screening and post interview follow ups. Operate as a liaison with the company’s PEO in the onboarding process ensuring pre-employment drug screening, onboarding paperwork, and compliance and comprehension of the Employee Handbook. Employee Relationshiring, firing, resolving grievances, disciplinary actions, training, company communications, general employee assistance. Compensation and Benefits Administration Group Health Plan—annual renewal, ongoing enrollment changes, employee education, reporting, interface with PEO. Collaborate with Safety Manager on Workers Compensation claims and management, and ensure accuracy and completeness for claims reporting, monitoring and 300 logs. Manage and track vacations, time off, sick days and leaves of absence. Review weekly payroll and facilitate delivery of information to PEO. Review and update Employee Handbooks Review and update job descriptions RESPONSIBILITIES AS OFFICE MANAGERSupervise personnel including the Receptionist and Administrative Assistant. Oversee the efficient operation of the office daily needs including monitoring and ordering office supplies, company logo clothing, office amenities and comforts. Oversee office equipment and supplies, order maintenance service and update office equipment as needed. Oversee special projects are successfully completed and provide additional administrative assistance to company personnel as needed. Assist Accounting Manager with administrative tasks related to that department QUALIFICATIONSA minimum of 5 years’ experience in Human Resources, Benefits Administration and Office Management. Construction industry Preferred. Knowledge of employment laws Excellent organizational skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Self-starter, detail oriented and a high degree of accuracy Hodge Western Corp offers a safe, challenging and rewarding work experience.
