Wood Moulding/Millwork Production

Must have the skills needed to operate equipment proficiently to include the use of transfer chains, extension arms, breakdown unit hoist. Stack lumber into units for further packaging. Pushes buttons, turns knobs, or manipulates levers to start transfer chains that carry lumber into the moulders. Feeds lumber into rippers and moulders. Offbears from moulders and stacks finished products. Pulls and replaces mis-graded or mis-manufactured lumber as needed. Operator straightens lumber on the landing table and maintains an even flow into the moulder. May record data such as thickness, grade, length, and quantity of lumber stacked. Keeps work area clean using air hose, broom.
