Market + Deli Kitchen Assistant
We are seeking a well seasoned individual who has hustle and self awareness. Passion and knowledge about cured meat, cheese, and wine is important - we are an open kitchen and you serve and interact with the customers. The jobs daily duties are to prep your station and kitchen for service, work your station (be prepared for a busy lunch rush), restock your station, clean your station, and do dishes. You must be comfortable using a slicer, following instruction, using Square POS, customer service, multitasking and pivoting. The right candidate must be efficient with their time, precise, consistent, observant, and maintain a clean work space. We're looking for someone who is kind and able to anticipate the needs of the customer while reading the room.
We are a husband and wife team who have extensive backgrounds in many aspects of the food industry, including many years of restaurant work both front and back of the house, butchering, farming and ranching, meal prep and catering.
This is a part-time position Thursday-Saturday (potentially Mondays as well) 22-30 hours a week, though, depending on skill level and ambition, can be a full time position with higher pay.
