Implementing and controlling field compliance with grow out, disease prevention, and quality programs.2. Coordinating with and informing technical, personnel, administrative, service, and other managers of any information that could affect their decisions or influence bird performance.Maintain all American Humane certification requirements - 15%Development and submission of proposals, budgets, and projections for fryer and production facilities and activities - 5%Maintain good inter-company, growers and community relations - 10%Maintain good employer/employee relations within area of responsibility -10%DECISION MAKING RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and manage:Educate growers throughout contract and growout operational changesDevelop and Implement Grower housing specifications with ManagerConsistent Grow-out house management programs – develop and implement with ManagerMedication treatments – approval from veterinarian and management / independent executionPurchases – independent with in guidelines of budgets and management directionCommunication of chick placement schedule changes – independent with in guidelines of IMRCommunication of bird shipping schedules – independent with in guidelines of IMROversee construction of consistent new contract, grow-out housing construction – With approval of ManagerSubordinate employee and Grower discipline up to termination – With approval and total involvement of ManagerMajor capital projects – develop independently / approval by corporate / execute with ManagerSafety programs and training – Corporate direction / independent development and executionEnvironmental programs and training – Corporate direction / independent development and executionAny employee issues in the grow-out department – With approval and involvement of ManagerAnimal welfare programs and training - Corporate direction /execution with ManagerGrower/Company relationships and conflict management -IndependentlySUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:  Potentially, 6 employees- 3 forepersons and 2 to 3 assistant forepersonAnd/or responsible for up to 15 contract broiler growers.WORKING RELATIONSHIPSInternally: Regular contact with supervisors of feed mills, hatcheries, live haul, scheduling, processing plants, purchasing and accounting.Externally:  Daily contact and interactions with vendors and Growers.
