Position Overview: As a Parts Associate, you will be responsible for supporting the efficient operation of our parts department by managing inventory, fulfilling orders, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong commitment to accuracy and organization.
Responsibilities:
Manage inventory levels by conducting regular stock counts, replenishing supplies, and identifying obsolete or slow-moving parts.
Receive incoming shipments of parts, verify contents against purchase orders, and ensure accurate documentation.
Process customer orders promptly and accurately, either in person, over the phone, or through electronic systems.
Assist customers in identifying the correct parts for their needs, providing pricing information, and addressing inquiries or concerns.
Maintain a clean and organized parts department, ensuring that parts are properly labeled, stored, and easily accessible.
Collaborate with other team members to fulfill urgent or special orders and meet customer expectations.
Utilize computerized inventory management systems to track stock levels, process orders, and generate reports as needed.
Follow established safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Qualifications:
Must be 16 and older.
Prior experience in a parts associate role or similar position is advantageous but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a friendly and helpful demeanor.
Proficiency in using computerized inventory management systems and basic office software applications.
Physical ability to lift and move heavy items, stand for extended periods, and perform tasks in a warehouse or parts department environment.
Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
