Our Receptionist is the "Director of First Impressions" with customers and a very important part of our team. We offer a secure, quiet and relaxed work environment and try to make every day fun. If you've worked in an office before, or seen the show "The Office", that's great but not required. Eligible candidates will have the ability to:
- Answer incoming calls on a multi-line telephone system and transfer them to the appropriate agent, or team member
- Warmly greet customers entering the office, assess their needs initially, and direct them to the proper party
- Present a professional "business casual" appearance
- Accept payments by cash and electronic means (Credit, Debit and 1X EFT) and occasionally prepare bank deposits of
premiums received.
- Be reliably available from 9am - 5pm, Monday through Friday with a 30-minute lunch (37.5 hr work week)
- Take direction on assigned computer tasks, including data entry, and phone tasks as needed and directed
- Get along well with office staff and present a cheerful disposition with customers at all times
We offer a competitive entry level starting wage of $16/per hour (DOE), paid federal holidays, and flexible hours as needed to accommodate family and/or school schedules. A review for raise follows the probationary period of 3 months.
Additional incentives are also available for bilingual Spanish applicants and those who are already hold a P&C insurance license (Property & Casualty). A Spanish-speaking Property & Casualty (P&C) licensed applicant would be given our utmost consideration and start at a higher initial wage.
