Description:
As an Area Relief Direct Support Professional (DSP-AR, you will support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to lead self-directed lives and to participate fully in their communities. This position fills in long-term openings or need for additional staff, and you are guaranteed 35-40 hours a week of work. This position requires that you be able to work a variety of shifts including, but not limited to, days, swings, awake overnights, and live-in positions. Working weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) is a requirement for this position.
Wage & Benefits: $23.50 per hour

Position Type: Full-Time, 35-40 hours weekly with additional compensated overtime during on-call week
Qualifications:
Have a valid driver’s license.
Have one year of experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Certifications and Trainings:
Must pass required DHS background check and Protective Service Investigations.
Must be able to maintain all certifications as required by PCL, such as CPR, Oregon Intervention System (OIS), and Mandatory Abuse Reporting.
You will be trained on these subjects during a 2 week in-person orientation session.
