Hoyer Steel Inc. is a new company that is breaking into the Industrial Pneumatic Conveyance Industry. We are in need of experienced Welder/Fabricators. Preference for individuals with previous experience in this industry. Must be willing to be flexible with job tasks as we are moving into a new facility and you must be willing to wear many hats. This is an opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a company that will be around for many years to come. We also fabricate BBQ Smokers and Fire Pits along with Steel Art and Decor. We sell our products all over the nation. Opportunities will be available to travel as a company representative to BBQ competitions to sell our products. We are a family owned and operated business and are looking for individuals who can become like a member of our family.
Position available after 2/19/2024.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to work outside in all seasons.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis.
Ability to bend, twist, kneel and squat repeatedly and stand/walk on uneven surfaces for long periods of time.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
2 year experience of industrial fabrication to include welding. MIG preferred, TIG a plus.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Safety awareness & positive attitude.
Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
Primary duties include:
Welding (MIG 100%)
Fitting and fabrication.
Grinding, polishing, sanding.
Layout, testing.
Assembly of welded and machined components.
Secondary duties include:
General shop labor
Parts cleaning / deburring
Painting
Helping with Shipping and Receiving as necessary.
Beneficial Knowledge:
Use of Slip Roll and Press Break and how to form steel.
CNC Plasma Table operation.
Forklift use and operation.
Schedule:
Available Days: Monday - Friday
Hours: Day Shift - 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM Lunch 11:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Flexible work schedule available. Honor System.
Salary/Benefits:
Pay Type: Hourly + Overtime + Bonuses
Salary: $26 - $34/hour depending on experience.
Group medical, vision and dental insurance currently not offered. We are in talks with our provider and intend to offer this very soon.
