Parks & Recreation Maintenance Worker – $16.75 - $19.00 DOE

Schedule: Full-Time | Seasonal
Express is seeking a hardworking Parks & Recreation Maintenance Worker to support the upkeep of local parks and public spaces. This hands-on role plays a key part in maintaining safe, clean, and welcoming areas for community use.
Job Duties Include:
Mowing, trimming, planting, and general landscaping
Laying bark dust, sod, and weeding flower beds
Light custodial work including cleaning restrooms and picking up trash
Inspecting and maintaining playgrounds, sports fields, and park facilities
Assisting with event setup/takedown and seasonal duties
Operating lawn mowers, trimmers, power tools, and small equipment
Driving a city truck or John Deere Gator as needed
Requirements:
Valid Oregon Driver’s License
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Comfortable with stooping, bending, and physical outdoor work
Reliable, safety-minded, and a team player
