Microgreens farm laborer part time

Oregon, Corvallis/albany, 97330 Corvallis/albany USA
Aplica ya

I run a small indoor microgreens business and I need someone who can help harvest, package, and label product. You will also help sow seeds, clean grow trays, transition plants between stages, etc. You will also learn to run some farmers markets.

The most important shifts are harvesting and sowing Mondays and Fridays. Currently we start work after 2pm, but when my other laborers are on summer break we will begin work at 8am (starting mid June).

There are two shifts to work every day, one in the morning and one in the evening, where you will tend to the plants. These can be picked up and traded with other people.

You will be required to work Mondays and Fridays and some of the other shifts. I also need you to learn farmers markets so you can cover some gaps on the schedule. There is a possibility I will have more Saturday markets available and you will be required to run that if it opens up.

I have markets I will need you to run on June 6, 8, July 6, 11, and 13.

For markets you will need to use your own car and I will compensate your gas. It is helpful if you have an SUV or something large enough to fit the market setup.

Pay is $17 an hour. You'll work approximately 10-15 hours a week, and if there are any markets it could be as high as 23-25 hours a week.

Work can start immediately if you would like.

In summary:

- harvest and sow Mondays and Fridays.

- share weekly shifts with other laborers in which you will tend to the plants.

- cover gaps in the schedule for farmers markets

- I will possibly need you to run Saturday markets (8.5 hour shift)
