I run a small indoor microgreens business in Albany, OR and I'm in need of someone with a driver's license and a reliable vehicle. Pay is $17/hr + gas reimbursement. Your car will need to fit at least 4 large coolers fyi.
Your main responsibilities will include delivery driving and harvesting/sowing plants.
- Delivery driving will be every Tuesday and Friday to customers in Albany, Corvallis, Eugene, Salem, Portland, etc. In the future I might add a third day of the week to deliver. There will be front-door deliveries with possible interactions with customers.
- Harvesting/sowing is every Monday and Thursday, which are our heavy days. There are also short, easy shifts to water the plants every day of the week, and you can pick up any of these if you'd like. You will be working along side another person and we can coordinate who wants to work which shifts.
- Lastly, if you're interested there might be work needed at farmer's markets on Saturdays (7am - 3 or 4pm).
