We are looking for someone with sturdy legs and a desire to work in forestry land management. We’re a vegetation management company focusing on site-prep and invasive species control throughout the reforestation process. Most days start around 7am and go till 3pm, the majority of the day spent hiking in the woods with a 35lb pack on. Starting pay is $15 an hour with a raise to $16 after 30 days on site.
The work is weather dependent running from mid-March through early November. This means some weeks will be seven day weeks and some will be three day weeks -just depends on the weather. After 30 days employees are encouraged to study to become a certified lead applicator, training materials provided. Once licensed, lead applicators can receive better compensation.
