Part-time - 16-20 hours/week beginning July 1. Up to 35 hrs/week Oct - Nov. Very limited hours Dec and Jan.
$18/hr to start - could be more depending on experience
PTO program for all part-time employees
Applicants must be 18 or older (to comply with Oregon Labor and Industry Laws)
Duties may include but are not limited to:
Cleaning tanks and equipment
Forklift operation (we will train you)
Warehouse tasks like hauling/moving cases and pallets of wine
Various winery tasks
Mowing and leaf-blowing
Weed eating and hand-weeding
Pruning trees and hauling brush
Use of hand tools and motorized farming/landscaping tools
Planting things and pulling out other things
We're a small (boutique small), family-owned vineyard and winery just west of Philomath, off the Kings Valley Highway. We are committed to taking care of our people and our planet; the fruit we grow and make into wine comes primarily from certified organic vineyards. We are looking for a reliable team player who appreciates hard work, learning and collaboration. This is an entry-level position with room to grow. We will offer you the opportunity to work in every facet of the wine-making process and will train you to do tasks you may not yet be familiar with. You will most definitely learn how to think creatively to solve all kinds of problems.
Disclaimer for all the hard work you’ll get to do: Qualified applicants must be able to safely work. This position requires continuous physical activity including but not limited to walking, climbing, kneeling, crouching, and yes - possibly even crawling. It requires that you be able to lift up to 50 pounds. It occasionally includes confined spaces, heights, and the willingness to work in wet and variable weather conditions.
