Job Summary:
We seek a local, reliable, and caring Babysitter/Nanny to provide attentive, in-home childcare for our two children. The ideal candidate will have experience in preschool and childcare to ensure the safety and well-being of the children in our care. Hours are 8:30 am to 4 pm, Monday through Thursday in the Fall through Spring and Monday through Friday in the summer. $14 - 17/hr depending on experience.
Must pass a background check, have a valid driver's license, and have reliable transportation. Benefits are available after 90 days.
Responsibilities:
- Engage children in educational and age-appropriate activities
- Provide attentive care and supervision to children of varying ages
- Prepare and serve meals for the children
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for the children
- Administer basic first aid when necessary
- Follow parents' guidelines for the children's routines and schedules
Skills:
- Prior experience caring for children, including infants
- Proficiency in child-related activities such as nannying, educating, and infant care
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized childcare environment
- Strong communication skills with both children and parents
- Capability to prepare meals for children based on dietary needs
