Benco is hiring for a full-time female (BFOQ) Program Coordinator to manage a 24-hour residential townhome for a single adult woman with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
The Program Coordinator would be responsible for supervising up to 8 employees, which would include training, scheduling, evaluations, discipline, providing support and managing the day-to-day operations of the townhome.
The adult woman is independent and needs assistance with things like cooking, cleaning, budgeting, healthy lifestyle choices, proactive and community activities.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate would be empathetic, understanding, compassionate and be able to remain calm in a stressful situation.
The candidate would have at least two years’ experience with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and/or at least two years’ college. Benco prefers that the candidate have two years’ management/supervisory experience.
The candidate would have good people skills, motivational skills, be a self-starter, organized and able to prioritize.
The candidate must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
Wages and Raises:
Starting wage range DOE $44,928.00 - $55,120.00/annual. Salaried exempt position.
Benco offers a great raise schedule. The employee will receive a raise every 6 months for the first 2 years and annually thereafter. Raise schedule is as follows: 6 months-3% increase, 1 year-5% increase, 1.5 year-3% increase, 2 year-5% increase and a 6% increase annually thereafter until you meet the cap for that position. Current cap is $74,480.64/annually.
