Client is an 82 year old female with significant cognitive decline due to Alzheimer's and dementia diagnosis. Mobility and ADL’s are a struggle, and we need someone who can deal with the client being resistant to help, especially with toileting.
Some cleaning and cooking would be involved, but mainly the client needs help with personal hygiene, companionship and fall avoidance.
Ideal candidate would have:
-significant experience working with memory care/ Alzheimer's patients.
-live in Corvallis or nearby, with no plans on moving anytime soon.
-be very kind and patient
-be very reliable and consistent
We need to fill daytime hours, ideally on some weekends, however the schedule can be flexible for the right candidate.
We really just want to find the right person for this position, and are willing to work with whoever can fit this role.
