Benco is hiring for an experienced female (BFOQ) Direct Support Professional.
The program currently has a strong team that exemplifies teamwork, unity and support. This is Benco’s only 24-hour program that provides care to just one individual giving you the opportunity to work 1:1 with the individual living in the home throughout the duration of your shift.
The ideal candidate to join this team would be experienced in the IDD field, have emotional maturity, be skilled at handling challenging situations, and know how to develop trust and respect with the support they provide.
Set schedules available:
Full-time Monday – Friday 3p-9a = 30 hours per week. Eligible for benefits.
Part-time Thursday, Friday 7a-3p and Saturday, Sunday 3p-9p = 28 hours per week.
The applicant must be at least 18, have a high school diploma or GED, have a valid driver's license and good driving record.
Wage DOE $18.00 to $22.08/hr. Capped at $29.84/hr.
Benco offers raises every 6 months for the first 2 years and annually thereafter if the employee has not reached the cap for that position. Raises are: 3% 6-months,
5% 1-year, 3% 1.5-years, 5% 2-years and 6% thereafter until the cap is reached for that position.
Benco offers medical, vision, dental, sick and vacation accrual, retirement plan and life insurance for employees working at least 30 regularly scheduled hours per week.
Benco offers the opportunity to apply for the National Alliance for Direct Support Professionals (NADSP) credentialing. The program offers to elevate the status of Direct Support Professionals by improving practice standards, promoting system reform, and advancing their knowledge, skills, and values. Furthermore, offering the control to increase your wages as you complete each credentialing program if you have not reached the CAP for that position.
