Controls Engineer I (Albany)
General Information:
Compensation: Starting at $80k, higher starting salary based on prior experience.

CorrQuest Automation is located in Albany, OR and has a nationwide presence in the corrugated paper industry. We are currently looking for an entry level engineer to join our talented team.
CorrQuest is an automation controls solution provider. We design and implement control systems for major packaging companies. We provide upgrade solutions for existing machinery by using cutting edge automation technology and new innovative ideas of our own.
Success Factors for Job:
Willing to jump in with both feet and be an active member of our team
Develop electrical designs, program PLC and HMI, commission and troubleshoot
Ability to manage special projects and maintain good customer relations and communications
Bachelor's Degree in electrical, mechanical, computer, or automation engineering
Activities:
Communicate well with co-workers, management, clients, vendors, and others with a courteous and professional attitude
Follow all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions
Follow all safety rules and use all appropriate safety equipment
Experience with PLCs, HMIs, drives, motors and other automation components is a plus, but not required.
Enjoys performing detail-oriented work
Responsibilities:
Be able to manage projects by planning, scheduling, designing, overseeing, testing, and documenting per company's quality standards
Be able to deliver projects within a scheduled time frame and on or under budget
Be able to provide troubleshooting for customers over the phone
Be willing to travel: our projects are installed all across the US. You can expect to be on the road about 20% of the time
