Part-Time Bookkeeper Position
Location: Corvallis, Oregon
Hours: 25 hours per week
Our company is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-Time Bookkeeper.
This position requires an above-average understanding of the principles of accounting and advanced experience with QuickBooks Online and Desktop.
The ideal candidate will have an above- average knowledge in payroll, payroll filings, year-end 1099 filings, and the preparation of in-house financials.
Responsibilities:
Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including but not limited to, recording financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and reconciling accounts.
Communication with the client to track down missing statements and clarification of missing transaction details.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner.
Ensure compliance with payroll tax requirements and filings.
Assist in year-end 1099 filings.
Prepare in-house financial reports as needed.
Collaborate with the accounting team to support various financial activities.
Requirements:
Advanced understanding of bookkeeping principles.
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Desktop.
Experience with payroll processing and payroll tax filings.
Familiarity with year-end 1099 filings.
Ability to understand, analyze and prepare in-house financial reports.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team.
Good attendance and reliability are a must.
