Pacific Parcel Express, Inc. is an independent contractor for FedEx Ground, Inc. Weare hiring full-time and part-time delivery drivers for the Bend area.
We are looking for qualified individuals with professional driving experience. If you don't have professional driving experience, we still encourage you to apply. Positions available include full time, and part time (current operations run Mon-Sat).

Compensation:
- Daily starting pay: $180-$200 (DOE)
- Weekly Bonus: ($100 weekly bonus opportunity with meeting safety, service, and attendance goals).
- Overtime available (1.5x) after 40 hours (full time), Direct-to-overtime pay after five days (full time)

General duties
- Safety First! Safe driving behavior at all times (standards expected of a professional driver).
- Daily pre/post vehicle inspections.
- Examine and organize daily load prior to departure (vehicles are pre-loaded).
- Pickup and deliver to business and residential customers within the prescribed time windows
- Learn the route(s) and customer needs. Abide by FedEx Ground customer service protocols.
- Handle and maneuver packages without damage, and without injury to oneself or others.
- Operate vehicles and equipment safely, securely, and competently.
Requirements:
- At least 21 years of age with a valid driver's license (CDL not required)
- One year verifiable professional driving experience within the last three years preferred (or five years experience within the last 10 years)
- Clean driving record - no major at fault accidents or major violations within the last three years
- Pass a DOT physical exam, drug screen, and criminal background check
- Lift up to 75 pounds, and maneuver oversized packages up to 150 pounds with use of a hand truck
Skills:
- Safely drive and work outside in all weather conditions. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Verify the accuracy of delivery orders and obtain necessary signatures or documentation
- Own and operate a smart phone, and be able to learn job specific technology and application requirements
- Safely operate a variety of delivery vehicles, including box trucks to transport goods to designated locations
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Good communication skills for interacting with customers and team members
