We are seeking a Paint Prep Technician to join our frame production team. This role is essential in preparing raw bicycle frames, stems, and forks for final paint application. If you take pride in hands-on work and have a keen eye for detail, this position could be a great fit.

Key Responsibilities:
Sand and prep bonded joints to achieve a smooth surface
Perform sanding and chemical preparation for primer
Apply initial masking and primer
Sand primer and prepare surfaces for final paint
Apply detailed masking for specific paint schemes
Maintain accurate tracking of frame, fork, and stem serial numbers
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in processes, tools, and techniques
Keep a clean and organized workspace
Adhere to safety best practices and wear proper PPE
Skills and Qualifications:
Strong mechanical aptitude
Enjoys working with hands and physical materials
High attention to visual detail and finish quality
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment
Willingness to work extra hours when needed
Team-oriented, collaborative, and open to learning new techniques
Experience in painting, composites, or fabrication is a plus but not required. We’re happy to train the right person.
