Join our team as a skilled and experienced mechanic in our brand-new shop. This role is more than just a mechanic position.
-Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year, plus health benefits
-Hours: Full-time. Over 40 hours per week during peak season (April-November), with lighter hours in the off-season.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a diverse range of tasks, including:
-Conducting maintenance services for small equipment, trucks, trailers, skid steers, mini excavators, and diesel engines.
-Managing inventory of frequently used parts.
-Efficiently overseeing tool check-ins and check-outs to crews through our software system.
-Supervising regular services on trucks and keeping meticulous records of all maintenance work.
-Maintaining high levels of organization and demonstrating advanced computer literacy.
Qualifications:
-Substantial, proven experience as a mechanic in a reputable shop, with expertise in various types of machinery and vehicles. Strong professional references required.
-Exceptional organizational skills and aptitude for maintaining detailed records.
-Proficiency in computer systems for managing inventory and service records.
-Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to work effectively in a team setting.
