Roofing Salesperson

Responsibilities:
Travel to homes or job sites that are scheduled to be estimated to roof
Take pictures and document existing conditions of roof, site access, steepness of roof, etc
Assemble photos into estimating software
Compile estimate into software and double check pricing, numbers, quantities
Email estimate to customer or present estimate in person depending on customer availability, make sales pitch
Follow up with homeowner after quote has been sent, make sale
Perform final inspection once roofing project is completed, document with photos and check list
Deliver final warranty paperwork to customer and collect final payment
Ensure roof is installed correctly, grounds and cleaned up and homeowner is satisfied
Qualifications:
Demonstrated success in sales (3+ years), preferably within roofing/construction or a related field.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong knowledge of roofing systems and materials.
Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
Valid driver's license.
Salary and Benefits:
Full-Time Exempt
Base salary plus 2% of sales commission
Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance is available to purchase by all employees
Simple IRA is available for all employees after 90 days, with Scotts Roofing matching up to 3% of employees yearly pay
Paid Time Off: accrues at 40 hours per year after 90 days and after the first year 40 hours per employee is given on the first day of the year. 80 hours per employee after 2 years at the company
Paid Holidays: Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, and Veterans Day for those that have served our country
Unpaid Company Holidays: Friday before Memorial Day, Friday before Labor Day, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Years Eve
Company Truck provided and gas card if employee has clean driving record and is shown to be able to responsibly take care of company property
