Position: Pepperidge Farm Delivery Driver
Location: Bend, Oregon
Pepperidge Farm, a leading bakery and snack brand, is seeking a reliable and experienced individual to join our team as a Delivery Driver / Merchandiser in Bend, Oregon. As a Pepperidge Farm Delivery Driver / merchandiser, you will be responsible for driving a delivery truck (U-Haul size) non CDL, delivering Pepperidge Farm cookies and Goldfish to retail locations, and ensuring timely and efficient deliveries.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently drive a delivery truck to transport Pepperidge Farm products to retail locations.
- Load and unload products onto the delivery truck, ensuring proper handling and storage.
- Deliver Pepperidge Farm cookies and Goldfish to retail locations in a timely and professional manner.
- Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and complete all necessary paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety guidelines, and company policies.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on the delivery truck.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery truck at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service and address any customer inquiries or concerns.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure accurate inventory management.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver, preferably in the food industry.
- Ability to safely operate a delivery truck and navigate different routes.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy boxes and packages.
- Flexibility to work early morning hours from 3:30 AM to 12 PM.
