Hello! We are a natural, vegan, and sustainable cosmetics company called Axiology. We have been in business for over 9 years and are currently being distributed to retailers like Credo and The Detox Market as well as boutiques and refill stores worldwide. We recently became famous for our zero-waste Balmies which are 3 in 1 crayons for eyes, lips, and cheeks. Axiology also makes other vegan makeup and is preparing for a new launch this Summer.
We are looking for someone to ensure the smooth operation of our shipping department and provide valuable support to our laboratory activities.
Position Overview:
Prepare and package orders for shipment accurately and efficiently.
Support lab staff with cleaning and preparation of lab tools and equipment.
Assist in packaging products for sale including tasks such as stickering, stamping, and preparing samples.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs) in both the shipping and laboratory environments.
Contribute to maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the shipping area and laboratory space.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or laboratory work is preferred but not required.
Extreme attention to detail, thoroughness, precision, and an amazing ability to follow instructions.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with shipping software.
Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
Enthusiasm for learning and willingness to take on new tasks and responsibilities.
