Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Parts Manager to join our team. The Parts Manager will be responsible for managing inventory, ordering parts, and ensuring the availability of materials needed for our technicians to complete their jobs efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in parts management and a passion for excellence in customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory of parts and supplies
- Order parts as needed to maintain adequate stock levels
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts
- Work closely with technicians to understand their needs and ensure they have the necessary materials to complete their jobs
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and purchases
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders
- Implement effective warehouse management practices to maximize space utilization and streamline operations
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in parts management
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices
- Detail oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in inventory management software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
