Job Title: Plant Supervisor/Manager
Position reports to: General Manager
Compensation: Starting $25.00 Hourly
Typical Hours of Work: Monday – Friday 40 hours a week
Minimum Job Requirements: Proficient operating personal computer and various web applications (Quick books, Word, Excel, etc.) Proven ability to perform and maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively to customers and co-workers. Current Driver’s License. Able to run a crew efficiently and safely. Strong product knowledge, Able to read and understand plans, shop drawings, elevations
Desired Education/Skills: Carpentry skills. Ability to read plans, place & finish concrete, knowledge of OSHA standards and NPCA standards, Spanish bi-lingual, Past precast concrete manufacturing experience.
Job Duties-
Plan/Schedule all production work for the week
Train/Supervise all production staff and new hires to successfully fulfill their job duties by creating training tools.
Check timecards daily following company policies.
Ordering materials used on a daily basis & manage min/max levels on underground components and more frequent where a course of action is required.
New product development purchasing/process/training.
Assists in monitoring and making continuous improvements regarding operating budget and production efficiency.
Monitor production and initiate corrective action as required to ensure plant follows and complies with safety guidelines, quality control and productions as established.
Assists in adherence and development of safety and maintenance programs and procedures for the facility.
Ensure all production staff are properly trained and motivated.
Coordinate production requirements and inventories with sales and market demands.
Inventory control / organization for yard.
Assist in customer relations.
Perform other duties as requested by direct supervisor.
