All-Star Labor and Staffing is hiring for a family-owned business in the Culver City area which supplies spices and botanicals to the food and dietary supplement industry. Our operations include milling, warehousing, and small-scale farming. We are currently hiring an associate for a manufacturing position.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties
Operate, feed, and clean milling, packaging, and processing equipment.
Move products and equipment around the facility as needed.
Record data, logs, and inspections as needed.
Strictly follow GMPs, SOPs, and maintain a good understanding of safety and hygiene.
Secondary Responsibilities and Duties
Occasional support for warehouse in loading, unloading, and organizing warehouse, as needed
Occasional seasonal farming tasks, as needed.
Participate in sanitation of facility, grounds, warehousing, and production equipment.
Physical Demands
Standing, climbing, pulling, and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, twisting, turning, and stooping.
Able to lift 50 lbs. consistently overhead.
No known allergies to dust or natural products.
Qualifications and Requirements
Must have the ability to use hand tools, good motor coordination necessary.
Good communication skills.
Detail oriented, with the ability to thoroughly complete food safety documentation.
Experience in fork-lift driving, preferred.
Must be team-oriented with the ability to work with others.
Must pass drug and background screening.
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
Hours, Pay, and Benefits
Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 3:30pm.
o Hours may vary slightly depending on weather and season.
Frequent overtime opportunities.
Pay: $20.00/h
