FABRICATION SHOP LABORER
Rydman Ranch Co / RRCo MFG is a fabrication and machine shop located in Prineville Oregon. We specialize in chassis and suspension manufacturing, while offering laser cutting and CNC machine services to the general public. Our services include: fiber laser cutting, CNC forming, CNC milling, CNC mill turn, CNC turning, MIG welding, TIG welding, and material processing. Our goal is to provide our customers with precision parts at competitive prices.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Willing to be trained and work in multiple areas and tasks
Perform general manual labor tasks including loading / unloading / lifting / organizing / moving materials
Sanding / deburring / grinding parts
Loading / unloading CNC laser / lathe / mill
Use of forklift (forklift certified)
Parts runs (Valid drivers license, clean driving record)
Equipment maintenance and work area housekeeping
Supporting Shop Lead
Varying tasks as needed
JOB QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE AND TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
Operate tooling / machinery efficiently and safely
Maintain clean work area through good housekeeping practices
Must have basic math skills & blueprint reading
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Experience with multiple metrology tools for measuring and recording part dimensions
Experience with metal (mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum) and plastics machining
Experience with HAAS Classic and Next Generation Control
Experience with Hypcut Control
Experience with Amada NC9EX Control
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Works primarily in a metal fabrication / machine shop environment
Physically able to repeatedly stand, walk, bend, lift, push, pull, and twist up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Be able to use simple power and hand tools
Know how to read a tape measure
Follow written and verbal orders
Moderate noise level in the work environment
Must be flexible to perform limited part finishing and/or assembly as needed
