Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker and assistant to support our small warehouse operation. The successful candidate will receive, handle, and store shipments, track inventory as needed, prepare products for shipment, transport orders to selected carriers and any miscellaneous assistant tasks as needed. This role plays a critical part in maintaining an efficient and organized warehouse, helping our business meet its fulfillment goals.
Duties Include:
- Receive and Unload Shipments: Help unload incoming shipments, verify contents and inspect for damage.
- Inventory Management: Frequent inventory counts to ensure proper storage of materials.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders in accordance with company standards.
- Shipping and Transporting: Label and transport packages to selected shipping carriers.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the warehouse clean and organized, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
Requirements:
- Legally able to work in the United States
- 18+ years old with a Valid Drivers License
- Ability to stock, organize, and package items effectively
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, boxes can weigh from 40-50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Integrity, Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to meet deadlines, orders will need to arrive to carriers prior to closing.
- A working Vehicle for transporting packages to selected carriers. Truck or SUV would be best, but this can be discussed further if needed
- Is okay with being in a pet friendly environment
- Basic computer skills may be needed in the future
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is a plus, but not required
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week (3-5 hour shifts on Monday, Wednesday and Friday)
