We are Central Oregon Disaster Restoration, the regions largest locally owned, non-franchise, disaster restoration contractor, and we need your help to keep growing! We service building owners that have had water, fire, mold, asbestos and any other variety of structure damage to their home or business, and we are now accepting applications to join our Emergency Services Department.
We are hiring any experience level to join our mitigation team. There's opportunity for growth and multiple certifications.
Job Duties:
-Use a variety of tools to measure moisture content and atmospheric conditions
-Demolition and disposal of non-salvageable building material and personal contents
-Detailed, accurate, comprehensive documentation of jobsite conditions and activities
-Set-up, take down, and monitoring a variety of mitigation equipment
-Detailed and accurate communication with clients and team members
Skills & Requirements:
-Hard working
-Ethical and honest
-Proven work history with references
-Ability to lift up to 75 pounds on a consistent basis
-Ability to operate various types of machinery including but not limited to; box trucks, trailers, fork lifts ect.
-Excellent customer service skills
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Good math skills
-Ability and willingness to work in confined spaces such as crawl spaces and attics
-Clean criminal history and driving record with a valid Oregon driver’s license.
-Ability and willingness to submit to all appropriate Health & Safety requirements of the job including respirator fitness, Personal Protection Equipment, vaccines, etc.
-Some construction experience preferred
This position is full-time, 40+ hours a week, and will work various hours including on call, after hours and weekends when needed. Benefits include paid time off, retirement contribution, health, vision, dental and a competitive wage.
