Job Requirements
Regularly moves and lifts heavy objects such as, but not limited to: barrels, tarps, small tree limbs, lawncare equipment and plant materials.
Typically bends, stoops and crouches on a regular basis to adjust machinery, pick up trash, debris and perform other duties.
Frequently engages in tasks that require repetitive motion and positions for long periods of time.
Frequently does maintenance tasks that require good concentration and attention to detail.
Regularly operates equipment in public places around other people that requires operator to be constantly aware of personal and others’ safety.
Continuously monitor quality of work performed.
Operating power equipment such as blower, edger, mower, string trimmer, power shears.
Ability to work within a team environment with professional communication skills in all types of weather conditions.
Job Descriptions
Maintenance: mowing (push/riding mowers), weed eating, edging, blowing walks etc, monitoring irrigation systems/coverage, looking around properties and seeing what needs to be taken care of. Pulling weeds (yes, weeds can still be pulled not just sprayed!), raking, pruning, cleanup work. IF LICENSED spraying weeds
Construction: all phases of landscape construction from trenching, installing irrigation systems, planting materials from 1-gallon pot to trees, moving/installing mulch products (wood mulch, gravel, boulder placement, etc), paver installation (patios, walks, etc), sod and artificial turf
As a Lead, you will do all the paperwork and communication required to keep the job moving, materials coming on time and office staff apprised of progress. Tracking and report crew time, daily progress reports to Operations Manager, problem solving and effective communication to keep the job on target with everyone from the owner, managers to the crews. The Lead is the communication hub. The Lead will work directly with the Operations Manager for crew staffing, material procurement and all reporting required. The Lead will be responsible for daily production of his/her crew.
As a Lead, you are also a Crewman and work side by side with the members of the crew you are leading. Your work will be examined and held to a standard that this company has worked hard to establish.
