Your Role at Newport Avenue Landscaping:
As a Landscape Construction Foreman, you will play a pivotal role in:
- Leading and mentoring a crew of 3-6 skilled professionals
- Collaborating closely with supervisors, clients, and architects to ensure precise implementation of project plans
- Managing and participating in diverse landscaping projects
MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AN INTERVIEW:
- Proven expertise in landscape construction, with a focus on hardscaping (including varied patio designs, retaining walls, and flagstone)
- Comprehensive knowledge in irrigation installation and repair, from residential setups to large-scale commercial systems
- Proficiency in constructing water features independently
- Strong understanding of plant biology and care requirements
- Skilled in operating machinery such as skid steers, mini excavators, dump trailers, and large trucks
- Possession of a valid Oregon driver's license and insurability through our company policy
- A minimum of three years’ experience in landscape construction, backed by a verifiable employment history in landscape contracting
