Addictions Recovery Mentor is a person providing peer delivered services to an individual or family member with similar life experience. A Recovery Mentor will have a MHACBO CRM certificate or must complete an addiction approved (ACCBO) training program (peer delivered services) provided by NPFS and be: a self-identified person in recovery from a substance use disorder for a minimum of 1 year.
We have an opening in our Bend location that offers outpatient, housing, 2.5 and 2.1 partial hospitalization for SUD clients. Some of them also have mental health issues that can require mentors along with co-occuring counseling services.
Educational Requirements:
H.S. Diploma/GED Valid Drivers license and insurance
New Priorities Family Services is looking for a Male Addictions Recovery Mentor. Our objective at NPFS is to provide mental health and substance use treatment services to all individuals regardless of race, religion, age, gender, and socioeconomic status. We strive to provide comprehensive mental health and substance use treatment to youth, adolescents, adults, couples, and families in an effort to halt the destructive cycle of behavioral and mental health/ substance use issues.
Duties include; providing transportation when needed for clients to seek services in the community or attend 12 step meetigs. Meet with clients to offer support and help them navigate services in the community.
Help facilitate groups. Collect & Observe UAs. Other duties as needed to help the client and to be a team member.
NPFS provides sick pay, paid major holidays & amp; vacation; health benefits, provide trainings.
Wages depend on experience. Some evening work is required.
