We are looking for a new Sous Chef to work alongside our Head Chef and culinary team at the newly evolved Blacksteer Steakhouse.
We are the largest restaurant in Bend and we are on a mission to become one of the best steakhouses in Central Oregon. While the restaurant originally opened a few years ago, we are now under new ownership and management!
My name is Brandon Duncan and I recently joined the Blacksteer team as the new GM. I have over 20 years of experience creating, opening and successfully managing unique restaurant concepts throughout the US. We are in the middle of a 2 week closure to renovate the entire restaurant, address and resolve the challenges of the past and turn our establishment into the amazing steakhouse we know is possible.
I just hired a new head chef that has extensive experience, especially with French & and Mediterranean cuisine. We also have a new AGM that is extremely experienced and knowledgeable with all aspects of the front of house operations. We have created an entirely new menu and will be re-opening July 25th for a special event / soft-opening and then our grand re-opening will be August 1st.
The role: Sous Chef: leading the kitchen team under the guidance and support of our head chef, Gil Flores.
