Brand new food cart at The Bite in Tumalo. We are Sandos & Smash! Our starting menu includes a standard double smash burger, four sandwiches, fries, and cheese curds. Opening day was February 1st. We are the same owners as Pine Marten Pizza, also at The Bite, Rush's Squares at OnTap, and Homeslice at the Blacksmith in Redmond. We are looking for some experienced cooks, who want full-time hours (part-time will be considered) and have a friendly and welcoming personality for our customers.
Job duties include:
showing up on time
prep work
keeping the cart and walk-in cooler clean and organized
executing tickets quickly and efficiently
providing excellent customer service
Starting pay will depend on applicant's experience and long term goals. Hourly will be around $17, but will include all credit card and cash tips, split between the crew, and based on hours worked. Can almost guarantee $10/hour in tips, once spring season hits. Pine Marten Pizza, right next door, was averaging about $12/hour during the summer months.
