Objective – Room Attendant:
Room attendants are responsible for cleaning and servicing guest rooms in order to provide a pleasant and comfortable experience for guests. They ensure that all rooms are inviting and clean and they address all guest queries politely and knowledgeably. As work schedule allows, this position may be required to fill in as a Janitor.
Job responsibilities:
Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc)
Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
Stock and maintain supply rooms
Cooperate with the rest of the staff
Follow all health and safety regulations
Requirements and skills:
Proven working experience as a Janitor, room attendant or project attendant (as applicable)
Ability to handle (or ability to learn) heavy equipment and machinery
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
Integrity and ability to work independently
Ability to use Android/Apple based applications to view schedules and for timekeeping purposes
Must have reliable transportation
Attending meetings and in-service training sessions as required.
Performing all janitorial duties.
Other duties as directed by the Site Manager, Area Manager, General Manager or President
Compensation – Front Line Employee:
Wage type - Hourly
Staring base wage is $20.00 per hour, increases are available as experience and job performance allows
